GymHub ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the GymHub mobile application ("App").

- Account information — email address and profile details you provide when creating an account, stored securely via Supabase authentication.
- Workout data — exercises, sets, reps, weights, duration, and workout templates you log in the App.
- Nutrition data — meal entries, nutritional information, and photos you upload for meal tracking.
- Health data — fitness and activity data from Apple Health (HealthKit) when you grant permission, including data we read and write to keep your records synchronized.
- Device permissions — access to your camera, photo library, microphone, and speech recognition when you use meal photo and voice input features.
- Usage data — basic analytics such as app version, device type, and feature usage to improve the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the App and its features
- Sync your fitness data with Apple Health
- Send push notifications you have opted into
- Improve the App and fix issues
- Respond to your support requests
3. Health Data
Health data accessed through Apple HealthKit is used solely to provide fitness and nutrition features within the App. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing purposes. Health data is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account and app data are stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers (e.g., Supabase) who help us operate the App, under strict confidentiality agreements
- When required by law or to protect our legal rights
- With your explicit consent
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for HealthKit or other device permissions
- Export your data
- Delete your account

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above or through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
